My Ph.D. in sociology/criminology and decades of criminal defense experience give me unique knowledge and insight, including the use of forensic evidence and the scientific aspects of criminal cases. By choosing to work with me, you can expect the following:
I provide extensive case analysis, including forensic knowledge and procedures. My experience and understanding include DNA, forensic pathology, toxicology, blood spatter, cell phone technology, computer forensics, and more.
I engage in rigorous investigation and preparation of witnesses. I seek to uncover the facts, including errors, flaws, and other inconsistencies that may cast reasonable doubt on the charges you face. Exhaustive case preparation is key to minimizing or eliminating consequences.
I treat clients how I wish to be treated when facing a life crisis. In my practice, you are not just a case number but a unique individual owed due process, fair treatment, and the right to be defended effectively. My service is founded on a genuine desire to help others.
I know how to deal with prosecutors in negotiating favorable options and defending clients before judges and juries. Legal industry organizations like the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys have recognized my trial skills and wins.
I empathize with all of my clients. By limiting my practice in the number and types of cases I handle, I can address the needs of each individual more effectively.
I have over 25 years of experience in criminal defense, a Ph.D., and extensive knowledge of forensics. In addition, I am a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College (NCDC), where I received advanced criminal defense and trial training.
Lawyers who rely solely on their “courtroom panache” will often fall short. I personally speak with witnesses, and when necessary, I can enlist the assistance of private investigators to ensure that every shred of evidence is available to defend my clients.
